Sales/Warehouse Administrator
Are you looking for a role that combines both administrative and hands-on warehouse duties? We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Admin/Warehouse Operative to join our clients team in Sheffield, perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic and varied workday.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Administration:
- Handle inbound sales calls from customers, primarily plumbers’ merchants, advising on products and processing sales orders.
- Input and manage sales orders using our system (basic computer skills required).
- Create stock replenishment sheets and place orders with our parent company.
- Continuous product training provided to stay up to date with the equipment and customer needs.
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, pick, pack, and ship orders in a well-organised, clean warehouse environment.
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and ensure timely loading/unloading of trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment (training provided).
- Assist with stock management, including manual handling and some heavy lifting.
Who We're Looking For:
- An experienced administrator wanting a more hands-on role, or
- A warehouse operative with strong communication skills looking to transition into administration.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred; industry experience is a plus but not essential.
- Physically capable of lifting and manual handling as part of daily duties.
Location: Sheffield (S20)
Salary: £22.5k
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
